Christopher Walsh, MD, PhD

Dr. Christopher A. Walsh is a renowned pediatric neurologist, geneticist, and neuroscientist at Boston Children’s Hospital, where he serves as Chief of the Division of Genetics and Genomics and is the Bullard Professor of Pediatrics and Neurology at Harvard Medical School. He is also an investigator with the Howard Hughes Medical Institute and Director of the Allen Discovery Center for Human Brain Evolution. Dr. Walsh specializes in the genetics and development of the human brain, with groundbreaking research focused on autism, epilepsy, intellectual disability, cortical malformations, and other neurodevelopmental disorders. He earned both his MD and PhD from the University of Chicago and completed his neurology residency and genetics training at Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School.
