Dr. Christopher James Wenninger, MD

Dr. Wenninger has been my Doctor for over 20 years. He has always treated me with respect and given me the attention and time needed. Any diagnosis he has given has been spot on. While he is friendly and caring, he also is direct in that diagnosis and what we need to do to address the situation. I'm 70 years old and have seen dozens of General Practitioners over the years. Dr. Wenninger is the best, hands down. If you need a good GP he is the man.

I had a referral sent in from another doctors office that told me Dr Wennigar was a pain management doct. Once I made my appointment, they had my records from my pain specialists sent over. They had them for over a month and never called me to tell me I didn't need a referral to see him. Instead I go to my appointment, paid $120 dollars and get chewed out by him about coming to see him as a pain management doct. He then proceeded to tell me my records sent weren't big/thick enough and said there's nothing showing I have chronic migraines, just tensions headaches from tight muscles and that all the preventative meds I'm on all cause sedation (they aren't narcotics or addicting, but have helped me tremendously) - AGAIN something his office should have noticed about my packet and notified me of coming prepared with my MRI's, X-rays and Cat-scan that I had no idea weren't included. He was very condescending and talked to me like I was making it all up and his solution was to stay hydrated… for my SEVERE, DEBILITATING, chronic migraines. It's doctors like him that UNDER treat patients like me and we never get the help we need. It was a constant back and forth why are you doing this and why are you taking that? I would explain, but he was very staunch and rude the whole time. I couldn't wait to get out of there.
