Dr. Christopher Erwin Wilson

I was his patient for many years, until he left the practice suddenly. I have been left without a caring doctor ever since. Dr. Wilson doesn't just hand out medicine without cause; he does prescribe what is prudent, and not a script more. He also does NOT tolerate anyone who seeks elsewhere, or "loses" meds, or actually gets meds from someone else. If you are REALLY in need, and truly do your FULL part as a patient, then you will find Dr. Wilson to be a fair, compassionate, competent and thoughtful practitioner. Plus, he really inspired me. He too had back pain, but he ran in races. I am speaking in past tense because I have not seen him in about 6 yrs or so, and I truly miss him A LOT. He just doesnt take any guff from anyone, he's no fool either, so if you have a story, trust me, he's heard it! He's not mushy, he doesn't joke around, and he doesn't take crap. In his field though, considering the epidemic in our country, can you really blame him?

Dr. Wilson is a joke. My grandmother was referred to him for pain care related to her hip, back, knees and neck. Dr. Wilson would not allow us to come in with a 78yr old patient to ensure her history was given to him correctly. He spent maybe 15 minutes with her. When we went back to her Primary Care Doctor he was angry when he found out that Dr. Wilson does not allow family members in with patients especially seniors or people who need advocacy and support. If he has nothing to hide then family or friends should be permitted in the room. In addition the PCP wanted Dr. Wilson to order a current MRI as her other one was over 5yrs old. He refused and stated unless she was willing to undergo procedures then he would not order one. How can a dr. refuse to test a patient for any changes or new disabilities/conditions when they are having significant pain? Her pcp said his practice will NO LONGER refer to Dr. Wilson. Save your money and your time and look for a trustworthy dr.

My wife-a Iraq veteran was referred to Dr. Wilson for a severe spinal condition after we relocated to Georgia. On her first appointment he spent about 10 minutes with her. He does not allow family members in with the patient. He did fill her prescriptions and made her take a drug test. He then sent a letter telling her she failed the drug test and refused to see her anymore. She tried to find another doctor and ended up going through severe withdrawls that landed her in the ER. We tried to find out how she failed the test but he refused to communicate with her. Prior to being referred to him she was in the ER and given various meds and told that she needed a PMR doc. However the meds she was prescribed was what she had to take while waiting for an appointment. My wife does not use illicit drugs and simply asked for info regarding the problems with her test-to no avail. I would not recommend him as he violates the hypocratic oath by doing harm instead of "doing no harm." he could have… at least spoke with her to get clarity if there was any concerns or discrepancies. We have decided to return to the state where we got out of the military so that she can get proper pain care. It's sad that patients with legitimate pain conditions are treated like crack heads and denied proper pain control...Don't use this guy!
