Dr. Christopher Nelson Wilson, MD

Dr. Chris Wilson grew up in Oxford, North Carolina. He earned undergraduate degrees in chemistry, biology and biochemistry from North Carolina State University. After graduation, he worked with GlaxoSmithKline Pharmaceuticals prior to pursuing his long time goal of becoming a physician. Dr. Wilson earned his medical degree at Wake Forest University. He then completed 2 years of pediatric residency at the University of South Florida in Tampa, FL, before returning home to North Carolina to complete his third year of pediatric residency at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center. Dr. Wilson then moved to Raleigh and worked in a rural pediatric practice in Henderson before seizing the opportunity to practice at North Raleigh Pediatrics. When he is not working, Dr. Wilson and his wife, Heather, spend their “free” time raising their two children, Noah and Ellie.
