Dr. Christopher Thomas Wommack, MD

I went in a few weeks ago and I was very displeased. He seems like he is tired of his job. He also could care less about my issues. I felt like he was just looking at his clip board and checking the boxes like one of those conversations where you just say yep, okay, cool. not really paying attention. I usually keep my concerns to myself but i had to write a review about this so called Doctor. Do not go to him. But on the other hand my visit wasn't totally ruined because I had a follow up with his NP Leslie. I had a breath of fresh air because she was delightful. She asked me questions and I didn't feel like a patient. i felt like a human being talking with another human being. I voiced my concerns with her and she listened and was very insightful. I would recommend her to anyone. I rated this as a 3 star because of her. 1 star if i had a follow up with Wommack

this doctor is the worse. I went in to the area and needed to have a doctor locally. i waited about two hours to be seen finally got to the back, he walked with his laptop sat down asked me why I was there I told him he been looks at me and says this isn't going to work you will need to find yourself another doctor he never told me why he picked up his laptop and walked out of the room and left me sitting there when I find him sitting outside of the door at a desk I said well can you find me a doctor with in this place that can assist me he said no find your own doctor. I walked myself out. I have never had this arrogant treatment in my life he had no regards to me as a person my health. I've had better empathy and service at a McDonald's in what I received with him....it was unbelievable.

This doctor has the bedside manners of a turnip. Waited for 50 minutes in the examination room without any notification from the staff as to the reason for delay. After deciding to leave, I encountered the doctor sitting in the hallway with his daughter reading a book. The doctor had the nerve of sending me a Certified Letter telling me that he could no longer provide me with healthcare due to my violating their rules of walking out on an appointment. I found this to be absolutely insulting to a Veteran and Senior Staff member of the nearby US Army base, as I am.

I really liked having having Dr Wommack as my PCP. Unfortunately, my insurance changed and so he is longer my doctor. With 10 years as a firefighter/paramedic, I highly recommend him. He knows his info and cares for his patients.

Seems to enjoy running useless tests rather than referring to another physician. When I received the results from my MRI, he had a nurse call me and read the diagnosis to me - a diagnosis made by an outside company. She could not answer any questions and I could not talk to the doctor. I had to google the information to interpret it. Wait time runs long, but I've had worse. I'm not 100% convinced he knows much more about medicine than me and I have not spent a day in medical school. After three or four frustrating years, I will be switching to another doctor.

We've used Dr. Wommack for years and have found him to be an excellent doctor.

Really takes the patient's medical condition seriously, and will not give up until he provides you with answers. Follows up, as well.
