Dr. Christopher Yonko, DO

Saw my 4 year old at urgent care and we incredibly dismissive of my very specific concerns and symptoms (recurrent fever, consistent abdominal pain on the same location, etc.). He talked over me and said it was “normal to have a fever for 2-3 weeks” and that it’s “just a virus”. I didn’t believe him and got a 2nd opinion and turns out it was an undiagnosed UTI that almost landed my child in the ER. Shame on him and lesson to me to be bullish about making sure my voice is heard on behalf of my children. My experience with Dr. Yonko specifically has diminished my overall confidence in doctors’ competence.

This doctor was rude and reprimanded me for possibly exposing him to my Illness. He went on and on about. He went overboard to scare me about the illness and instead of explaining the treatment he threatened me with the what if’s. I would never go back to this urgent care to see this doctor. Horrible bedside manner.

I have seen Dr Yonko several times at urgent care. He is always extremely helpful, professional, takes the time to listen to my symptoms or my children’s symptoms. He truly wants to make his patients feel better. He answers all of my questions and makes sure I’m comfortable with the treatment plan before I leave. If I could give him ten stars, I would. He’s truly an exceptional Dr and person.

Doesn't give you any time to talk. Is rude and dismissive when responding to a question. Overall hates his life and job.

Impersonal, He made me feel like I was wasting his time.

Great professional! Listens and speaks with you; doesn't make you wait an hour and then spend two minutes with you. A++++

Dr. Yonko was very thorough in my time of need. At the time I was seeing him I had just made it through an intense car accident. He ordered every test and even retested b/c I was/am still receiving pain. I was upset that he left a family practice for an ER! If I had it my way I wouldn't see another doctor! He's great
