Was sent to Dr. You for follow up to a surgery that "he performed". Was having issues most likely with adhesions. Asked if I'd had a full GI workup and repeated that I was having symptoms of adhesions per another specialist. Had more than enough testing to rule out anything else. He walked out of the room and within "ear's distance" said to his staff, "don't waste my time". I was both stunned and humiliated as a patient he had performed surgery on. Not the doctor you want if you need to follow up. Adhesions are common after surgery and I was being sent back to him by another doctor. Have worked in medical field for more than 20 years and I should have reported him to Franklin Square for his behavior that day. Find another surgeon. Missed work, waited more than an hour to see him, didn't want to bother with his patient and left his patient ill for months from adhesions that had formed from a surgery he had performed. FIND ANOTHER DOCTOR.
