Hello, my name is Christopher Young; I am the sole dentist here at Advanced Dental Care. I am a native Floridian, born in Hollywood, Florida. I went to school here in Central Florida and graduated from the University of Central Florida in 1992. After UCF, I moved to Philadelphia, PA to attend Temple University. In 1996, I received a degree of Doctor of Dental Medicine from Temple.  After dental school I returned to Florida where I met my lovely wife. We now have three wonderful children who keep us very busy. On my time off I enjoy spending time with them. Some of my favorite activities include reading, crossword puzzles, skiing, swimming, watching football, and just enjoying the beautiful Florida outdoors with my family.
Advanced Dental Care has been serving the people of Winter Springs since 1996. In 2003, I purchased Advanced Dental Care with the sole purpose of serving the people of Winter Springs and Central Florida. Meet The Staff:
Kris - Office Manager (employed here 8 years)
I'm the Office Manager of Advanced Dental Care. I am from Camp Lejeune, North Carolina and was raised here in Central Florida. I graduated from dental assisting school in 2000. I have been working here at Advanced Dental Care for 8 years and have a great understanding of dental procedures having started working on patients myself. Sometimes you can still find me working on patients with the doctor. I am knowledgeable with all aspects of dentistry clinical and clerical. Have a question? I've got the answer.
Viv - Dental Assistant (employed here 11 years)
I am the Dental Assistant of Advanced Dental Care. I have been working here for 11 years. I am originally from Wales, U. K., and I've lived in Florida for 16 years. I have worked extensively in the dental profession in the U.K., Saudi Arabia, and the US. I am very knowledgeable in all areas of dentistry. I look forward to assisting Dr. Young to give you the smile you have always wanted.
Sherrie - Registered Dental Hygienist (employed here 6 years)
I am the Dental Hygienist of Advanced Dental Care. I have been working here for 6 years. I have been practicing as a hygienist for many years and am highly skilled in both regular and periodontal cleanings. On my free time I enjoy the beaches, swimming, working out, and activities with my daughter. I believe your dental health is relative to your overall health and well being. I look forward to managing your oral health needs.
Karen - Front Desk Coordinator (employed here 4 years)
I am the Front Desk Coordinator at Advanced Dental Care. I have been here for over 5 years. Dentistry is my passion, and I have been involved in dental field for many years.
