Dr. Christopher Martin Zallek, MD

Saw Dr. Zallek in Oct & Dec of 2018. Found him to have excellent bedside manners, listened to my neurological issues with tingling and paresthesia, patiently answered my questions & offered understandable explanations. Laid out potential investigative testing & treatment options; was conservative in his recommendations, which requires patience, but trust in Dr. Zallek's extensive experience and background and history in the neurological field. Conducted an EMG with professionalism & kindness as there are small electric charges applied to the nerves, which does cause a small electric shock to one's body. A patient needs to be referred to Dr. Zallek by their physician, and his busy schedule means it takes several weeks to secure an appointment. Highly recommend Dr. Zallek.

It took 2 months for me to get into his office, but this is common for most of the specialists in this area. He was very thorough, spent a lot of time discussing my problems, and was very courteous as was his staff. While I didn't get resoloution to my problem, it isn't through fault of Dr Zallek. I have a progressive disorder that is more of a "wait and see" problem than anything. I would recommend him to anyone and will go see him again.

Zalleck saw me through the Muscular Dystrophy Association. I came for a referral to a neurosurgeon and I had specific questions for him. He said he would look into my questions and never responded. He referred my case to a clinic in St. Louis and never followed up. I left numerous messages and found out the clinic he referred me to never received and paperwork and they didn't even a neurosurgereon to see. Don't waste your time with him.
