Very charismatic charmer"the type who could sell ice to Eskimos." You do get a feeling he has the technical knowledge to back up what he says. We are not MDs to be able evaluate him and are trusting on faith, that he got to his position for a reason.Not so good: As Department Chair the guy really has too much to do. Hand-offs of patients to other nurses and doctors occurs frequently because he is so busy and they do not follow up well. Don't expect that he employees will do what he saysyou have to stay on your toes and watch the care you get when he is not around.

Dr.Coutifaris seems to have a good bedside manner but they see a huge number of patients at the office at 3701 Market St so you feel like a number. They are always running late and when you finally get to see the doctor it's only for a few minutes. Overall not a great experience.
