Dr. Christy H Barkhuizen, DO

She is rude, disrespectful and didn’t listen to my concerns at all. I will have to spend more money and time to try to figure out what’s going on with me because I felt as though she didn’t do a through work up. She is not a people person.

Went to Perdido Bay ER and saw Dr. Barkheizen. I had pain in my right back and side that radiates to the front of the stomach. Dr. Barkheizen started a heart work up, because that is a symptom of a heart issue with women. Heart tests came back normal so she said since the tests are fine I don't know what could be causing the pain so we are going to send you home. I asked could it be a kidney stone or appendix issue, she said no because you don't hurt that way. Kidney stones do cause back pain. She would not even do a scan to check my kidneys or anything else. Just sent me home with the same pain I had and still have!! SHE DOES NOT KNOW WHAT SHE IS DOING!!!
