Dr. Kim has been practicing dentistry in the Greater Seattle area and Eastside since 2001, when she received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Washington School of Dentistry.  She chose dentistry because it allows her to combine her love of science and health, her artistic abilities, and her desire to develop long-lasting relationships with her patients.  She enjoys getting to know her patients, listening to their concerns, and collaborating with them to meet their needs and to achieve optimal health.  Dr. Kim understands that the dental setting can be uncomfortable, so she and her team take the time to be gentle, caring and compassionate to her patients.  She honors the trust of her patients by providing them with honesty and excellence at all times. 
Dr. Kim strives to provide her patients with the best quality of care, and strongly …believes in continuing education since dentistry is an ever-changing and improving field.  She has taken many advanced courses since graduating from dental school and has been trained in all aspects of dentistry.  She continues to take courses regularly to keep up-to-date with technology and materials, and to provide her patients with the highest quality of care.  This year alone, Dr. Kim will be taking over 100 hours of continuing education (the minimum required for Washington state is 21 hours), most of which are in advanced graduate level courses (such as the graduate level series at the world-renown Kois Center, as well as at the world-renown Spears Center for Advanced Learning).

Hobbies: photography, art, running (with husband and kids), trying to enjoy her kids before they grow up!
Volunteer Dentistry: Participate locally as well as abroad (helped build dental clinics in two remote villages in China and provided dental care to children who otherwise have little to no dental care).  When her kids are older, Dr. Kim hopes to travel with her "dental assistants" to impoverished countries to provide dental care.
