Christy Pearce, MD

Christy Pearce, MD, is committed to walking with each patient on their unique pregnancy journey while offering honest and compassionate evidence-based guidance for a healthy pregnancy. She believes that the better a patient understands their diagnosis, the better their outcomes can be, and she therefore enjoys explaining the unique physiology of pregnancy to her patients.�

Dr. Pearce received her undergraduate degree from Samford University in 2001 and her medical degree from University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) in 2005. She completed her residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Tennessee Chattanooga, Erlanger Medical Center (2005-2009) and then her fellowship in Maternal Fetal Medicine at the University of Kentucky (2009- 2012). She is board certified in both Obstetrics and Gynecology and Maternal Fetal Medicine. �

Dr. Pearce is passionate about clinician wellness and education, and she has spent time pursuing this through leadership positions, …physician peer coach training, and lecturing in various CME settings. She and her family enjoy spending time together traveling, hiking, skiing and snowboarding.
