Dr. Chrystina Ann Jeter, MD

Dr Jeter did an injection for a herniated disc 2 years ago. It did help. Her bedside manner is questionable. She did not acknowledge me before the injection. I’ve had many more serious procedures , my Drs always in the past say hello are you comfortable or some form of reassurance. After the procedure she called me to let me know I could do an injection every six months and it is covered by my insurance. I told her that is not a good option for my other health conditions. She was not interested in discussing my physical therapy or alternative pain management. Why would she be when my insurance can be billed for an expensive shot. Two years later the exact same symptoms have reoccurred the Dr has moved to Santa Clarita not the best location for me but I thought we could easily repeat treatment. My appt was at 8am yesterday I arrived 15 minutes late and apologized. The waiting room was empty and the nurse took less then 30 seconds to tell me I would not be seen so I assume there was no… patient with the Dr . There were three women at the front desk any one of them could have ordered a scan . I am not a new patient and I let the office know my symptoms were the same as 2023. Why not cut my appt short or offer a phone appt when I’m in pain. Other offices offer a scan before seeing the Dr visit this is not unusual. I waited for Dr Jeter for 45 minutes in a freezing crowded waiting room before my injection in 2023 and another hour in the pre surgery room. Pre surgery does have paperwork the nurses finished that in 20 minutes. I waited an hour in a crowded waiting room for my initial appt in 2023. in the end this is for the best I have an appt less than ten minutes from my home. I did receive a call from the drs office before my appointment letting me know she does not prescribe pain meds ok I don’t want pain meds ? She will only prescribe for cancer patients. I waited two weeks in 2023 for the injection with out even a sleep aide in pain that could be seen on my scan.
