Dr. Avery has no bedside manner at all!! When she worked in Ellsworth chose not to listen to me thatcmy husband should have a sleep study due to he would stop breathing while sleeping, I was told "I wasn't qualified to tell her how to her job", my husband was then told to go on a 1200 calorie diet and sent him home. Not even a month later my husband ended up in MCMH, coded, put on life support, critical care ambulance to EMMC, where he spent 21 days in the ICU from undiagnosed sleep apnea, that in return turned into Obstrutive Sleep Apnea, not to include had he had a sleep study he wouldn't also have gotten his CHF, ect due to not proper medical care...should have sued as advised as our lives for her lack of incompetence has changed his and our lives forever!!!! I would never recommend her to anyone at all!!!

Went behind my mother's back to take her driver's license. Not one word to her or my mother's power of attorney.

No office follow up and appointment is not with a doctor; it's with either a physician's assistant, or, a nurse practitioner. If what you seek is simply having your symptoms treated, and not the cause, then this is the place to go....BUT if you seek a diagnosis, and treatment for why you are sick - go somewhere else!!!
