Back then, the dental school at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio was ranked as number one dental school in the nation by U.S. News and World Report. Recently it was ranked as world's fourth best. She worked very hard to get into that school and received her DDS (Doctor of Dental Surgery) degree after four years of solid professional training.
Staying at the forefront of her field has always been a high priority for Dr. Hong. She frequently attends continuing education courses to stay abreast of the latest dental advancements. For example, recently she took Aesthetic Continuum and Endodontic Continum at UCLA collectively for more than 20 days. Those classes enrich and advance her skills in cosmetic dentistry and endodontic techniques. Dr. Hong is …currently pursuing the fellowship in Academy of General Dentistry. It is a high honor for the most persevering dentists in the country. Dr. Hong is also a memeber of American Dental Association, California Dental Association, and Contra Costa Dental Society.
When she is away from work, Dr. Hong enjoys the company of her family and friends, playing piano, cello, hiking, traveling, skiing, and cooking.
