Dr. Cindy Ann Opolka, MD

I have been a patient of Dr. Opolka’s for at least 12 yrs or more and have never had a complaint until this year 2021. Recently I had a work injury and needed to have an appointment to see her which it was made but then someone called me later to cancel the appointment because Dr. Opolka doesn’t see her patients with work related injuries. I asked the person who I was talking to what was I suppose to do now and I guess that didn’t sit well with her. Next thing I know I received a letter in the mail telling me I was being discharged for offensive language and hostile behavior during a phone call. So I waited and called a few days later to try and speak to someone. The person who answered the phone was polite until I gave her my info and then she became extremely rude. She refused to let me speak to the office manager or anyone else. Then she had the nerve to hang up the phone in my face. I mean who just accuses someone and assassinate their character without talking to the… accused person especially since I probably been a patient longer then this person has worked in the office. These are privileged people! Because I wasn’t no where near what the karen is accusing me of but that’s perfectly fine. Doctors work for the patient! Without patients no doctor! This office is anti black anyway! There hasn’t been in all the years I was a patient any persons who worked there doctor, nurse, medical assistant NO ONE WHO LOOKED LIKE ME!! Even in all the photos hanging every where I can only remember seeing a few faces of brown people. I hope karma visits real soon to whoever it was that lied and tried to assassinated my character. I work for the State of Michigan and have private health insurance so I’m gone. This practice might be good to persons who are not black or brown in color but for us I would not recommend.

Dr. Opolka has excellently cared for my mother for years. We could not ask for a better doctor.

I can't say enough good things about Dr. Opolka - she has saved my life in many occasions with her professional skill and kindness.

I'm a father in a divorce situation. Any time I was there with my daughter she didn't want to give me the time of day, all communication was with my ex. Very uncomfortable, it very much seems like she does not like dealing with men.

Not great for kids - find a pediatrician (tried to send us to the emergency room every time our daughter had a cold). Also her habit is to refer to specialists rather than help us with routine healthcare issues herself (such as checking moles or prescription for sty in my eye).

I became her patient because the doctor in her practice that I wanted wasn't taking new patients. She turned out to be wonderful. She's really nice, takes time to listen, and refers to a specialist when necessary. She's brisk and efficient, but if you have questions, she'll take the time to answer them.

I can't say enough good things about Dr. Opolka. I took a chance on her as a new doctor, based on the good things I heard about her and because I felt I was not getting the care I needed from my long-time doctor's office. She was amazing, kind, compassionate, and professional--and has made a tremendous difference in the quality of my life. I highly recommend her to anyone. Her staff has always been nice, too.
