Dr. Cindy D Rakotz, DO

I really needed a new primary care doctor as my prior doctor moved. I was so disappointed with every second of my "interview" with Dr. Rakotz. She didn't say hello or goodbye or my name. She was very interested in her computer and not me. She seemed competitive when I was trying to tell her specific things about me. It was the worst meeting I've ever had with a doctor in my 68 years!

Although I like Dr. Rakotz, I had an appointment today and showed up 10 minutes early. I waited 40 minutes and then was told it would be another 15. Why? The office wasn't busy. I have never left a client waiting for an hour. I left with a fever and no one from their office even bothered to call to apologize. The lack of client concern is very distressing.

I started seeing Dr. Rakotz to establish a new primary care doctor. I was impressed from our first appointment and been beyond happy with her care since that initial appointment. Every time you visit her, she takes her time and gives you her full undivided attention. I have never felt rushed and always thought she has truly cared about my health and what is best for me as her patient. I recently had to be referred to an ENT specialist within their network and couldn’t get in with the specialist for a few weeks. Dr. Rakotz knew I was really struggling so she reached out to the ENT and she ordered all the testing the specialist would have done in advance of my appointment with them so I wouldn’t have to wait for my ENT to order the tests and wait again for the results. This is the type of primary care doctor you want on your side. She is patient, smart and is an advocate for your overall health. Thanks Dr. Rakotz! Disclaimer: If you go at the end of the day, their office is normally… running late but it’s worth it for Dr. Rakotz. I’d rather have an office run late and the doctor give me their full attention than an office that’s on time but the doctor is in a rush.

I have had the good fortune to find Dr. Rakotz. She personifies everything a fine caregiver should be. I cannot praise her skills enough.

She cares about her patients. She listens, is non judgemental and offers good explanation, diagnosis and treatment unlike many MI MDs. Good ethics and has the best interest of patient unlike many MI MDs who are too busy saving time and resources and who focus on getting through the day.

They told me that I was scheduled for an annual exam, a half our visit. She was with me about 15 minutes at the most. She was hurried and I did not feel listened too. I am looking for another doctor.
