Dr. Cindy Xinchun Shu, MD

No one ever picks up the phone! Took nearly 3 days of calling multiple times to get someone on the phone only to be told that they are booked 2 months in and has no openings. When I finally got an appointment, it's a 2 hour wait time to see the doctor. To be fair, she wasn't exactly lazying about; she was hustling from patient to patient with no downtime. She was efficient and abrupt but knowledgeable - I do appreciate that she didn't waste time. The appointment books are overbooked and they take walk-ins that just slows down the whole process. If I have to wait 2 hours with an appointment and the same amount of time without an appointment; why the heck would I make an appointment? They need a much better office manager and procedures. Given a choice (which I don't have since I'm on an HMO), I'd probably go somewhere else.

This doctors office visit was awful. There was a rude officious receptionist that yells abd pulls her hair at patients for not speaking her native language. The doctor Shu was not there, some others lady with a language barrier looked at my grandmother for less than a minute, snapped a picture and hurried her on her way. Yelp reviews are all accurate

She is not board certified and did not complete residency training in the US.

Liked that she was very knowledgeable and had good bedside manner. She patiently explained everything in fluent Mandarin to my non-English speaking family member and most importantly helped us manage the problem. I recommend to my friends and family.

The doctor is very rude and impatient. She talks very quickly and she does not spend time to explain things to patient. She dresses is very unprofessionally. I would not recommend this doctor.
