Claire Baker, MD

She tells me what I need to know and not what I want to hear. When it comes to being told you need to change yourself most people-including me- don't like to hear that. I want to point out that her manner is NOT confrontational, but she tells you what and why about the problems you are having.

Dr Baker is very good and thorough. She also goes out of her way to know her patients and assist them wherever she can. She wrote a letter for me to assist me in getting back into school and now I have my Masters Degree due to her assistance.

Excellent Dr. - smart and easy to talk to

I've had a number of doctors over the years and most of them have been very good. I was hesitant when Dr. Baker was recommended to me by my primary care doctor, but my concerns were unwarranted, as Dr. Baker (and her staff) are extremely good at what they do. Very efficient, and they treat me as an individual, and understand my concerns. I am very happy to be a patient of Dr. Baker's and I know if I follow her advice, I can beat this disease into manageability.

Dr. Claire Baker seems to be very knowledgable and a very good doctor - her office staff, however, is HORRIBLE! They are rude and extrememly inefficient. Typical wait time to actually see the doctor is always 45-60 minutes or more. The pharmacy will have to call at least 2-3 times to get a prescription refill. The receptionists and medical records individuals are very rude. It took 3 requests for me to get my medical records transferred to another office. This office is completely inefficient and not worth it. There are a lot of good doctors out there with better service. Too bad, becuase Dr. Baker is pretty good.

Dr. Claire is fantastic and after having a friend of hers for so many years as our Endo in Sioux Falls, SD...it was so great to be put at ease with her caring and just opening our eyes to the best care for diabetes...with three in our family being Type I it is imperative that we be "picky" when finding the right doc.
