Claire Hicks, APRN, is a dedicated and compassionate Advanced Practice RegisteredNurse with certifications in RN, TNCC, NIHS, ACLS, BLS, and ANCC, and she is an EPICSuperuser. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Eastern KentuckyUniversity in May 2021 and is currently completing her Master of Science in Nursing with aFamily Nurse Practitioner focus from Northern Kentucky University, graduating in October2025. Her clinical interests include delivering high-quality, compassionate care to patients ofall ages, rooted in her extensive background in critical care.Ms. Hicks began her nursing career as a Trauma ICU nurse at the University ofKentucky, a Level I trauma center, gaining invaluable experience in high-acuity settings.This foundation has cultivated her philosophy of patient care, which emphasizescompassionate, evidence-based, and individually tailored approaches. She is passionateabout empowering patients through education and collaboration, ensuring they feelsupported …and valued throughout their health journey. Originally from Nelson County, Ms.Hicks is honored to serve and give back to the community she grew up in, providing thesame level of care she would want for her own loved ones.Outside of her professional life, Ms. Hicks enjoys exercising, cooking, being outdoors,watching sports, and spending quality time with her loved ones.
