Dr. Claire O Mielke, DDS

Dr. Claire Mielke grew up in Stillwater, MN and graduated from Mounds Park Academy High School. She attended Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter and received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology and Spanish. She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry. After dental school graduation, she practiced for a year before realizing she wanted to specialize in Pediatric Dentistry. She completed her pediatric dentistry residency at Children's Hospital in Aurora, Colorado and recently became board certified. She is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, St. Paul District Dental Society and the Minnesota Dental Association.

"My practice philosophy is to build trust and instill confidence in our children so that they can be comfortable at the dentist starting in childhood and through adulthood. As recommended by the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, I believe that children should be seen within six months of …their first erupted tooth. This paves the way for establishing a dental home and implementing good oral hygiene habits.
