I brought my 15 year old daughter to the ER because another student at her school started a rumor that my daughter threatened to commit suicide. The school required I have my daughter evaluated, even though the threat came from another student, not my daughter. Dr. Morgan, did not listen to anything me or my daughter said, and decided to have her committed for a 7 DAY psychiatric hold because she couldn’t verify who started the rumor about my daughter. Even though my daughter told her repeatedly that she is not suicidal and not depressed. So, my daughter is missing all her end of school year, going into high school, activities, awards, and GRADUATION, because Dr. Morgan made her decision based on what another kid said, instead of what my daughter said and the behaviors my daughter was exhibiting. Disgusting. Shame on you Dr. Morgan. Pitiful excuse for a physician.
