She is more interested in digging into your past as a child and asking things that have nothing to do with your medical problems. I had a specialist that took one look at a copy of my records from her and said it wasn't what he wanted and threw them in the trash!! I had hand delivered them with an appointment. I have mentioned her name and have never heard a good reply about her from anyone. Sure wish I would have been warned ahead of time.

I did have to wait because three strokes entered the hospital that morning, but when my turn came, she spent a lot of time with me. She was very thorough and had a very personable manner. I actually enjoyed my visit and felt she was knowledgable and caring.

She is not worth the time. Travel the distance and go to a real dr. My 4 year old comes to Dr. Applegate and the wait is always 2 plus hours our recent visit was 6 hours long . Then I got school on how wrong I was for not being her in cause of the wait

I have worked with Dr. Applegate for over 20 years and have the highest regard for her diagnostic skills and willingness to help all patients that she is affiliated with. I have recommended her to several members of my family with good results and would feel confident in recommending her to anyone seeking a neurologist.

I have repeatedly tried to contact Dr. Applegate for days in a row and keep getting the run around from her office staff who tells me she is running 2 hours behind. Maybe she should take care of her current patients and stop trying to take on more new patients. I am still waiting on a call back for very important issues. I will continue to call everyday until they get the hint that I am not going to go away! This has been such a terrible experience with this doctor! I need results or at least not the brush-off that she is notorious for!

She makes you wait forever to see her. When you finally get to see her she is more interested in your home life than your medical problems. She is very rude and disrespectful. She wont let you explain how you feel or what is wrong. This is where people go who are in severe pain. No good doctor would treat patients this way and when you see a doctor you are suppose to leave feeling like there is hope and you will be ok. Instead you leave here feeling like nothing will ever be good again because this is how this doctor makes you feel .she should not be a doctor and I hope the people who need to know this read what has been said about this supposed doctor. If you need help do not go to her. She will only make it worse.

I felt that she knew what she was talking about. She took time to explain the goal and the diagnosis.

Very disrespectful to patients, starting with the unbelievable time spent in the waiting room, not to mention the time spent waiting in the examining room. The doctor doesn't listen to the patient, sometimes listening to "visitors" more than the patient. Makes judgements about the patients health and well being without full knowledge of the situation. Doesn't want to take time to listen before judgement is made. Don't waste you time or your health -- find another doctor. And, if you were referred to Applegate by your primary care doctor, be sure to inform that doctor of the problem. I'd rather be seen by the local vets for health care - at least they care about their patients.

She solves all medical problems with BOTOX shots. The only thing the shots help is her bank account.
