Dr. Clare Marie Babino, MD

Dr. Babino is the medical doctor I have waited a lifetime to find. She is driven by facts, science and her experience. She is kind and caring. She is NOT driven by pharmaceutical companies nor insurance mandates. I am grateful that she is located in Smyrna, GA although I would have driven out of state to see her. There is no one like her!!

As a new patient, Dr. Babino made me feel very comfortable. She is very knowledgeable in her field. Her staff was friendly and made it easy for me to make an appointment.

I love this doctor? She made me feel at ease and we are on the way to better health!

I'm sad to say that Dr. Babino was my first OB/GYN. She came recommended after finding out I was pregnant for the first time and was still having vaginal bleeding. After making it to my appointment I was devastated to find out I had fibroids complicating my pregnancy. She was gentle, patient, and very upfront about what I could expect. When I began to have severe pains which put me on bedrest, Dr. Babino was very attentive and present, even if I had to call her on weekends. I'm so glad that she was there and would recommend her 100 times over to anyone. Thank you Dr. Babino for being a phenomenal doctor and person.

Dr. Babino's great at giving you enough time to explain what your specific issue is and will give you options on what you can do about it. She won't dismiss your concerns and will listen to what you have to say. Dr. Babino actually recommended stuff for my mom when I brought up her similar issue, and she's not even her patient!

I absolutely recommend Dr Babino! She is an awesome person and professional. She is very in tune to the needs of women from a medical and holistic perspective. I am very pleased with my Doctor!

I recently had a Myomectomy performed by Dr. Babino and I have no complaints. I did however, end up back in the hospital 4 days after surgery for Bowel Obstruction. I feel that had I been instructed to cleanse before surgery this may not have occurred, but I am not a physician so I can not say for sure. My co-worker had the same surgery and returned to work approximately 2 weeks prior to my departure and she had 0 complications, however, she was instructed to cleanse. I have also had several other individuals who had the surgery recently tell me that they were instructed to cleanse prior to surgery and had 0 complications. In addition, it only made sense to me that cleansing may have prevented this because if the bowels were clear...there would have been nothing there to become obstructed. Again, I'm no physician...logic just tells me that I may should have.Overall, I have no complaints about Dr. Babino. She's attentive and I appreciated her. I will advise anyone to listen to their… body after being released from any hospital. I was in so much within the next 2 days of being released because I could not pass anything and each time I called Dr. Babino's office, the on call staff would redirect me to another number where I could only leave a message in a general mailbox. Fortunately, I never erased Dr. Babino's cell phone number from where she called me days prior. To my surprise she answered the phone at 11:30pm and spoke with me. That's what I appreciated. It wasn't her fault that the on call staff didn't appear concerned and kept blowing me off. My pain told me to go back to the hospital. I was readmitted for another 6 days..so again, listen to your body. It will not lead you astray. Finally, the staff is very courteous and attentive. Each time I request that they submit information to my insurance company, it's done. I may have to follow up, but never more than once. The only person who can tickle you is the Office Manager..She actually pulled me in this big conference room and sat me down to lecture me about a $200 pre-surgery bill that was due. I had just come out of surgery and was prepared to pay the bill, however, the whole pulling me to the side stating that only the full amount could be accepted was hillarious. The economy is on a downslope and real talk..anyone whom I owe will get their monies. If an organization is operating that close to the red, I'm sure that $200 will not make or break them. After I offered $50 and informed her that I would be paying $50 twice a month..so they would be paid off in two months..she still didn't want to let me out of the office. So fyi to anyone in that predicament...just let her know that your story will not change. You can ask for it while I'm at the counter or in the conference room and my answer will not change. Maybe that way, you can avoid that experience. It was a bit annoying. I detract that statement. It was extremely annoying! FYI...If she was up on her customer service skills she would've known that you get more bees with honey than vinegar. I may have paid the full amount that day if she didn't attempt to intimidate me for 5 minutes. She actually kept saying to me "We don't normally perform surgery without the $200! I lied to my Doctor and told her that you had paid. DO YOU UNDERSTAND ME..I LIED TO MY DOCTOR FOR YOU!! SO YOU HAVE TO PAY IT ALL TODAY.." LOL. First of all..your lack of integrity to your doctor that enabled you to lie to her first is not my problem or concern. Secondly, the fact that you are okay with lying if the circumstances call for a good lie should be a matter of prayer for you and not an opportunity to attack me because you "according to your own admission" lied. Ummmmm..Not Healthy, and certainly not the best option. After that meeting, I knew that I would break the payments up just because.... However, just sharing my experience, none of that has anything to do with the care that Dr. Babino provided. I respect her and would recommend her.
