Clare Nguyen, MD

Dr. Clare Nguyen is a skilled vein physician with surgical training and extensive experience performing minimally invasive venous procedures. Board-certified by the American Board of Family Medicine, she combines technical precision with a compassionate, patient-centered approach to care.
Dr. Nguyen earned her medical degree from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Medicine, where she also completed preliminary surgical residency training. She later completed her Family Medicine Residency at UT Health San Antonio.
Having performed hundreds of venous procedures, Dr. Nguyen treats chronic venous insufficiency, varicose and spider veins, leg swelling, and venous leg ulcers. She focuses on minimally invasive outpatient treatments tailored to each patient’s symptoms, lifestyle, and goals.
Dr. Nguyen believes effective care begins with listening and clear communication. She takes time to explain vein conditions and treatment options in approachable language so …patients can feel informed and confident throughout their care. She speaks English and Vietnamese.
