Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare:I chose to pursue a career in medicine because I wanted a job that was challenging and rewarding and have always enjoyed helping others. I really enjoy the hands-on aspect and the challenge that orthopedics offers. What I want my patients to know about me:I first became interested in medicine when I was in grade school while volunteering with special needs kids at equestrian therapy. I am an honorably discharged United States Marine Corp Veteran. I previously worked in emergency medicine. What I do when I'm not seeing patients:I love spending time with my family and being outdoors. I like snowboarding in winter months and relaxing at the beach during the summer! I also like drinking good beer.
