While doing software development for an orthodontic computer software company, Dr. Simmons realized his true passion was to deliver dental care rather than sit in front of a computer as a career. Dr. Simmons went on to receive his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry, where he also completed a post-graduate certification Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics.     Dr. Simmons is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics and is an Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of Missouri-KC School of Dentistry.
