Dr. Clarissa D Barrettoko, DO

If you're an educated person who wants to discuss, say, your supplements and you've brought them for that purpose, you don't want someone to say: Oh! That's a lot! Without asking, say, do you take Vitamin B12 everyday? Or how often do take B12? She has the bedside manner of someone used to speaking to cognitively impaired or immature individuals. There's not a lot of bandwidth. She relies wholly on tests because she can't connect enough with the patient to understand what is going on. But some people want and need that. If you want to raise questions about health and healthcare, she is not the person for you.

We have been trying to trying to get in touch with Dr. Barrettoko's office now for 8 days regarding an urgent issue. We have left 6 voice mails, one per day. No one has called us back. The office does not care about patients.

Dr Barreteko is very knowledgeable. But her office practice is horrible. If it’s her office staff, she needs to be involved enough in the business side to know what is going on. I needed clearance for surgery and thought I would try her. I have never, NOT ONE TIME, called there and had a person answer the phone. The voice mail is often full. And they never call back. During my initial visit I was referred for tests. But I was never able to get back in for another appointment. I never even got a return call. I could not even get my test results. After 3 months I gave up and started over with someone else. After another 3 months went by the office finally called me but it was to inform my I had an outstanding balance of $4.41. The nerve!!! If I would have had a life threatening illness I shudder to think what might have happened. Be forewarned if you go there.

The most apathetic, money motivated doctor in town. So uncaring and unconcerned it's appalling. Only surpassed in apathy and ineptitude by the abysmal office staff..We just can't begin to list the endless negatives. You've been warned !

I've always been very hesitant about seeking any type of medical care. When I first met Dr. Barrettoko, I mentioned that I was not doctor friendly, in the sense that she would not see me in her office very often. My first encounter with her was a very genuine interest in my care and she sent me to several specialists. She walked into the examining room with a smile although dealing with a full schedule that day, but she took the time to make me feel comfortable realizing that she had my best interest and health in mind. Since visiting her for a few visits, I've NEVER felt rushed, to get in and get out for her to see her next patient. Even with results from lab work not in my favor, she finds a very nice way of letting me know that I have improvements to make and ALWAYS has encouraging words. Dr. Barrettoko's bedside manner is second to none, which explains her since desire of her profession to help others. When speaking to friends and family members who may be looking for a… physician, I gladly and without hesitation give her name for a referral. She will without a doubt exhaust all possibilities to ensure that your health is of major concern not only to yourself and your family but to herself as well. She is a rare gem in the medical field that still believes in providing efficient and thorough care with compassion! Respectfully, Tino

Its sad you cant leave a message mailbox full at a doctors office, if she and her staff cant perform in a professional way why do they keep illresponsible doctors and staff in practice. Get rid of slum doctors. Then they want to say you didnt call to cancel appt then here go the money for missing. Miss Dr. Karl so much awesome Christian doctor things we're always in order staff on point..so sad

The only issue I have is changing a prescription, the only option is to leave a message and Clarissa is too busy for that.

My teenage daughter LOVED Dr Barrettoko...Made us feel at ease with her light manner and yet asked questions that got her right to the problem... Would highly recommend Dr Barrettoko!

She is very concerned about her patients. She asks questions, listens, and her knowledge is what you want in a doctor. I have never felt rushed. She is focused on keeping her patients healthy with prevention testing based on age and symptoms. My favorite doctor ever!!

Dr. BarrettoKo has the best bedside manner and is the most thorough doctor I've seen in a long time. Even though she was running way behind schedule, she didn't rush through my appointment and asked lots of questions to get to know my background, since I am a new patient of hers. I highly recommend Dr. BarrettoKo if you're searching for a primary physician.
