He studied for his undergraduate degree in biochemistry at the University of Arizona and earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio. His Certificate of General Practice Residency was earned from the Saint Francis Hospital & Medical Center in Hartford, CT. Dr. Colville then obtained both his Certificate in Orthodontics and Master of Science degree from the University of Texas Dental Branch in Houston. Dr. Colville is proud to include the Pierre Fauchard Academy – International Dental Honor Society and the 1984 University of Arizona Golden Eagle Award for excellence in athletics & academics among his many honors.
Dr. Colville is very active in the field of dentistry. He holds professional memberships in the American Association of Orthodontists, the Southwestern Society of Orthodontists, the Texas Association of Orthodontists and the Texas Dental …Association. In addition, he participates regularly in the Texas Orthodontic Study Club and the Border to Border Study Club. Dr. Colville contributes back to his community and profession. He is the 2007-2008 President of the Texas Association of Orthodontists. He lectures nationally and internationally for Align Technology on the Invisalign System â„¢ of orthodontic treatment. In addition, Dr. Colville is an assistant clinical professor with the graduate orthodontic department at UTHSC Dental Branch.
