Clark D. Fortney, D.D.S.
Dr. Fortney received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from West Virginia University School of Dentistry. While at WVU, he was the recipient of a National Health Service Corp Scholarship. After graduation, Dr. Fortney completed two years service with the National Health Service Corp division of the U.S. Public Heath Service. He helped establish the first dental clinic in Haysi, VA. During this time, he was awarded the U.S. Public Health Service Commendation Medal for outstanding service. Upon completion of his service in Haysi, Dr. Fortney returned to this area and established his dental practice in Berryville.
Dr. Fortney strongly believes bringing current dental knowledge to his patients is vital. He recently completed the New York University Maxi course in oral implantology. This ten month in depth course addressed all phases of dental implant treatment. Additionally, Dr. Fortney has completed the Implant Dentistry Continuum, a nine month course, held in …conjunction and sanctioned by the International College of Oral Implantologists.
Dedicated to providing the highest quality care, Dr. Fortney strives to give each of his patients the “BEST” possible dental experience. He especially enjoys restoring a patient’s confidence with a beautiful new smile.
