I can not begin to explain how much Dr. Gerhart helped me. He gave me my life back. I spent over a year not being able to eat, and being tested for everything from head to toe, with no answers, only to get sicker and sicker as the days and months went by. I knew something was wrong with me and multiple doctors told me I had no idea what I was talking about and that abdominal adhesions “don’t exist”, and definitely wouldn’t cause me any pain. One conversation, with Dr. G and he confirmed everything I knew to be true. I made the journey from southwest Florida to Pennsylvania, and I am so glad I did. I feel so blessed to have been given the opportunity to have him do my surgery. I am 260 days out of surgery and feeling great!!!!! I can eat again!!! Best feeling ever! So, Dr. Gerhart, from the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU!!!! Thank you for giving me my life back! Many many blessings to you & your family!

I will forever be indebted to Dr. Gerhart for the outstanding care I received before, during and after my Robotic Laparoscopic Adhesiolysis surgery where 3 layers of extensive abdominal adhesions were removed. Dr. Gerhart is a gifted surgeon and a true healer who restored my quality of life! The debilitating pain I’d endured over a 2 1/2 year period, due to complications arising from an umbilical hernia repair surgery performed by a different surgeon is now, thankfully behind me. Dr. Gerhart, as well as his PA, Kyle and the entire staff at Surgical Specialists Wyoming Valley are top notch!

I had a great experience with Dr. GClark Gerhart. He is very CAREING. He answered all my questions and all my daughter's questions. The staff is very nice and pleasant. Dr. Gerhart and his son- in- law were there for me, as I was very nervous and they knew it. And they made me feel very comfortable. I would recommend him to my Family and friends. Thank you Dr. Clark Gerhart.

He is a great dr listens to you takes his time in the office room explains things and he saved my life from a hernia and muscle surgery no one would do now getting the weight loss surgery
