Dr. Clark Ellis Smith, MD

Most irresponsible dr ever. I saw him briefly and asked for a urine test to prove to another dr that I was not on drugs. I had injured hands and dropped the urine sample in a dirty toilet while trying to give a sample. It never came to temp and when I told him this he said don’t worry about it. I asked to do s new test and he wouldn’t oblige. He then used that invalid sample to tell my wife that I was dangerous and to leave and not talk to me. He has mdestroyes my family on the basis of o my that test as we had never discussed any drug use or family issues before. It was the most callous and irresponsible think a dr can do. He owns a stake ins rehab and as trying to get another bed filled. I can’t imsgine any other reason someone would do this. While waiting for an appt a couple months ago I over heard him talking to a colleague about this very thin and how he has to keep his beds filled no matter what. He should be unable to practice medicine with decisions like this… one.

Can't say enough about Dr. Smith, I just feel very grateful that I had the chance to work with him so dynamically during a pretty tough time in my life - it changed the next decade of my life dramatically for the best -He is sincere, authentic, kind professional who remembers to separate the person from their situation and still, after all these years, has the uncanny ability to see through to his patient's 'higher self' which is remarkably validating!
