Dr. Claude Daryl Curry, MD

The male receptionist is very rude. My son was crying because an ear infection and he asked me to leave the room because he could not answer phone calls. We had to wait in the hallway! Dr. Curry only justified his bad attitude.

This doctor always always diagnosis "a little virus", but it is actually always something more serious.

Dr Curry is the best. He is very knowledgeable, kind, and I wouldn't choose any other pediatrician for my children. I've been told by many people he is the best at what he does and I definitely agree.

Dr. Curry & MA are super nice & friendly!!! the front desk receptionist males & females are RUDE!!!! WHEN SCHEDULING AN APPOINTMETN AND NO GREETING WHEN COMING IN.

Dr. Curry has seen both our children since the day after they were born (4 yo and 10 months old). We have been very pleased with the care we've gotten. Dr. Curry has a great bedside manner and a friendly and reassuring demeanor. If more serious issues arise, you'll need to see a specialist, but that goes for about any general practice ped. Dr. Curry allowed us to use a delayed vaccination schedule without a single eye-roll or finger wag, which we appreciate. The hours are good, waits are short, office is clean and the staff always remembers us. No need to cross the river for a pediatrician, we have very good one right here in oak cliff.

Very disappointed with how this dr and staff have treated me & my child!! I have addressed concerns with my child being developmently delayed for over year... My concerns went unheard!!! Completely Ignored!! No help with referraling to see specialist to help my child get the help needed. I find a programs on my own. Take my child in for a checkup and request for a referral to see a specialist that was advised by the program. Dr. Curry advised will call it and in the specialist office would contact me for appt. two go by no contact. I contact dr office to check on the referral... Not done! To top everything off his nurse advised me on the to look up a Neurologist which is the specialist my child needs to see.. and make the appointment myself. The disappointment, and hurt I am experiencing with this dr.. No parent should have to go through to ask your child dr for help and not receive it, or for them to refuse to help is unreal! Disappointed is actually an understatement!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dr. Curry is not only a poor doctor (with an extremely rude and disingenuous office staff) but he has the audacity to openly ridicule the firmly held religious and moral beliefs of his patients. I do not trust him. He is unprofessional in the extreme. Avoid him like the plague.

As a person who has worked in the medical field for nearly 20 years, I can say without a doubt that Dr. Curry is one of the best doctors I've ever dealt with. He is genuine and exceptionally kind to my child, he engages her in conversation and never talks down to me as a parent. When I questioned him about routine immunizations with mercury, he made it clear that they don't use those vaccines. The only vaccine that we needed that had mercury as a preservative was the flu vaccine, but he was always more than willing to order it for us as long as we called in advance for it. The drive to his office from our house was 45 minutes and we were happy to make the drive but we've since moved further away and just can't drive that far when our child is ill. It has been VERY difficult to find a new pediatrician that can compare to Dr. Curry. The ONLY negative about his office is the front desk receptionist who does not come across as very friendly. In the seven years that I brought my child… here, I have only seen her smile once, which was a pleasant surprise but I've never seen it since.

I love taking my five month old to Dr. Curry. He takes time to answer all my questions and treats my baby with great care. He is very accurate and all his suggestions have proven to be very useful. Dr. Curry is very professional, personable, funny and really knows what he is talking about. His office is very clean and appealing and the wait time is very short (5-10 mins, sometimes even less). He truly is an awesome pediatrician!

I have 2 kids who have been patients for many many years. My 15 year old since day 1. The staff is the best you can find. They treat you as if you are family. I have always depended on their knowledge and accuracy. They are always willing to help fill out forms and help take care of any and all insurance filing.Most importantly is the care Dr Curry has provided. Always taking care of the needs of his patients. He is patient, kind, intelligent and by far the best doctor I have ever had. I wish I could find a doctor for me just like him. All the children in our family are patients of Dr. Curry. That should say it all.
