Dr. Claude-Jean Langevin, MD

Claude-Jean Langevin, MD, DMD, is a plastic and reconstructive surgeon at MD Anderson Cancer Center Orlando and is also a member of the Breast Care Center at Orlando Regional Medical Center.

Dr. Langevin earned his dental degree from the University of Montreal in Canada and received his medical degree from the Weill Cornell Medical College, graduating with an honor from the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Society. He pursued a hospital dentistry residency at the University of California in Los Angeles, followed by an oral and maxillofacial surgery fellowship and general surgery training at New York Presbyterian Hospital – Cornell University in New York. Dr. Langevin also completed a fellowship in plastic and reconstructive surgery at the Cleveland Clinic.

Before joining MD Anderson – Orlando, he completed a craniofacial and pediatric plastic surgery fellowship at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. His clinical expertise includes complex microsurgical reconstructive …surgery, trauma and craniomaxillofacial surgery, and aesthetic plastic surgery of the face and body.

Dr. Langevin has received several awards and honors, including the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons Award and the American Academy of Oral Pain Award. He has participated in surgical missions in many countries including Ecuador, Chile, Belize and Haiti. He is also fluent in French.

He has presented at several national conferences and has published book chapters and articles in well-known journals including the Journal of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, the Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and the Journal of Craniomaxillofacial Surgery.
