Dr. Claudia De La Torre

Claudia De la Torre is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with 6 years of experience working with adults and adolescents. Claudia has worked with individuals living with depression, anxiety, emotional and physical abuse, and trauma. Her job is to help guide you towards positive change by fully understanding your feelings and offering unconditional positive regard. Claudia obtained her Master's degree in Counseling Psychology at Texas A&M University-Kingsville, and her Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Texas- UTRGV. Claudia’s counseling approach focuses on reality therapy, person-centered, humanistic, and rational-emotive approaches. However, she also provides individualized treatment based on client needs and goals. Claudia believes in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion and does not believe in societal labels. Everyone goes through difficult times, and it's ok to ask for help.
