Went to the ER for severe cough and shortness of breath and did not do anything to help me and told me I probably just had a virus. I ended up in the ED again 2 days later.

Such a nasty lady. Looks down on you and thinks she's better than you. Doesn't care about what bothering you, and acts like you're bothering her when you talk! Tries to talk over you too. First time I've ever had a doctor act like they are doing me a favor by treating me.

I’m not one to write reviews as time doesn’t usually doesn’t allow me to but when experiencing incidents such as I have, it is unfortunately considered a must. Most doctors show compassion and a love for the field and their patients, neither of which were demonstrated by Mrs. Fernandez. Actually, she exhibited the contraire where, as mentioned in the other reviews, she projected an icy, rude demeanor, had no bedside manners and exhibited a very high ego. In the best summary I could provide, Mrs. Fernandez walked in to my room at the Emergency Dept at Northwell Health and her greeting was “what’s the problem” with no introduction to who she was, etc. Throughout the conversation where I was expressing my concern for chest, arm, leg, jaw pain — she expressed no empathy and a complete disregard for any of my fears. At one point, while I was eating, she came in the room and demanded “Put Mask on as I need to discuss something with you” — not instead politely asking or perhaps waiting for… me to finish as it was nothing urgent. The icing on the cake was when she advised me that I was not able to take a picture of the Discharge paper (after I had written on it and was told by her that I would not get a copy). After I was discharged and I was at another location – Patient Services- I met with Nurse Manager and explained what I had gone through with Mrs. Fernandez. Mrs. Fernandez had the audacity to lie and told her that she never said that to me ( I was not present at that time) and that the discharge paper was left on my bed (which it may have been put there but only after I left possibly since I had mentioned to the resident doctor that I would be filing a complaint). Never did she express an apology as was warranted ; not sure why this “doctor” feels invincible with her continued ways even after knowing the bad reviews she’s getting. But what is harder to understand is why a hospital with such a good reputation and patient service will allow this to continue. Clearly, in these unprecedented times, I did not want to be near a hospital let alone in one and sadly, instead of feeling better after visiting, felt heightened anxiety from the encounter with a professional that was supposed to alleviate my fears and illness.

I never leave reviews, but this one is warranted. I have never had a worse experience in my 40+ years on this earth with any Doctor. Didn't even greet me with a "hello, my name is so and so". She walks into the room and says in the most miserable TONE "what's the PROBLEM".. As I'm explaining my problem, she responds very sarcastically and just seems like she is absolutely dreading any time she has with her patient. Absolutely zero bedside manner. This lady should not be a doctor, this field is not for her. Long story short, she wanted me in and out, without actually addressing the problem, so nothing was solved, it was a complete waste of my time and now I have to go somewhere else to address a concern that this lady had no interest in addressing. You can tell that she hates her job. Run far far away if you hear this lady's name. Worst doctor EVER!

She didn’t listen to I was saying, she didn’t even had eye contact is like she didn’t care about my symptoms, be careful if you see this Dr in the emergency room, she never talk to me or explain why I was on pain, only the PA explain me everything, horrible Dr.

Horrible bedside manner, large ego, self righteous and not a team player. In her the 6 short years of practice this doctor has not only derograded the medical profession, she has cheapened the value of her degree.
