Dr. Claudia Winograd Heise, MD

Very difficult to communicate with Dr. Heise, there is no patient portal to use for brief communications, paperwork, scheduling, etc. It can be extremely tricky to schedule an appointment, especially for emerging issues. During your annual physical she has patients make additional appointments for any concerns raised. She does not maintain a collaborative approach and maintains a stance as an expert, becoming defensive when challenged. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

I went to establish a new Doctor here in Maine. The wait was 4 months to see her. Was I finally had an appointment I was very ill. She didn't bother review my previous records which had been sent a month earlier. She did not request any blood work as a new patient with illness requiring such. She did a short virtual meeting asked me what I needed gave me refills then claimed she had a plan. It was the plan my previous Doctor had me on. When she finally decided to read my records she had her Medical Assistant (front desk) call me and say she would refer me. So much for helping a patience with whole body healing. My medical requests and issues should of been shared with the front desk and then conveyed to me in such a rude way uncaring way. I am now forced to search for someone to help me with me condition after waiting 4 months for her. So disappointed.

Dr Heisi is great. The office, however, is the worst I’ve ever experienced. Incompetent, chaotic front staff. They’ve bungled literally every single visit and call. Remarkably terrible.

I went there simply to have my meds renewed. It took approximately 10 minutes and I had the feeling I was being rushed. The bill came to $258!!! Are you freaking kidding me Doc!!
