Dr. Claudia Ruiz, MD

This doctor has continued to fail me. I am in the process of finding a doctor that hopefully cares more and is more attentive to my issues. She isn't very knowledgeable of certain severe conditions and cannot even provide basic advice as if she did not learn a lot in medical school or as a resident and so forth. To a certain degree this is acceptable but if you cannot provide general advice or more detail than I can find in a basic Google search or even help with related conditions that she should be providing insight in, such as blood pressure, diabetes or anything that can make my over-all condition either stable, she doesn't even acknowledge or take the initiative on. I don't really have anything positive to say other than she is nice, which isn't even accurate since she will not pay close attention during the call or video appointment and rush to get you off at the end. I have given her too many chances to be a decent doctor. 5 star reviews for her are likely not genuine or… for superficial school nurse level care. What a JOKE!!!

The doctor had a chance to review my chart between appointments with her and see what I am dealing with. She does not listen. Prescribed medications I’m already taking and rushed out of the appointment.

I went to Dr. Ruiz with what I thought was a bad cold, but Dr. Ruiz ran a couple tests and diagnosed my symptoms with strep throat. She was very professional, gentle, and made sure I was comfortable the entire time. She prescribed me the necessary medication and when I sent her a follow up question she replied very quickly to make sure I was making good progress. It’s been over a week now since my visit and I feel much much better. Thanks Doc! I couldn’t recommend her more!

Visiting Dr. Ruiz was one of the best medical experiences I have ever experienced. She was so knowledgable, thoughtful and overall wonderful to interact with. I absolutely recommend Dr. Ruiz to all patients in need of Superb medical care.
