Terrific experience with Dr. Conrad who performed my 6+ hr complex surgery Aug 16. Aside from his superior technical abilities he truly cares for the person. I would highly recommend Dr.Conrad. He is an amazing surgeon! No need to look further.

was referred to M D Anderson by my surgeon as no one available in our area to perform needed surgery. Fortunate enough to get Dr, Conrad. Am convinced that he saved my life. Can never express enough gratitude to him for the care and support he has given me. That he is no longer at M D Anderson and unable to locate him makes me feel that i have lost a beloved family member,

A fantastic surgeon. He performed a 9 hour surgery on my Son to remove a tumor on my son’s liver that another hospital had told us nothing could be done. He was able to remove it all and he was considered cancer free after the surgery. Very personable, caring surgeon.

Dr. Conrad was extremely knowledgeable and intelligent. He literally saved my sister’s life after gallbladder cancer. She is now cancer-free. He was extremely passionate about his work and down to earth when it came to bedside manner. He took his time with us at EVERY visit. We went back for her 3 month checkup to find out he was no longer at MD Anderson. SHAME on MDA for not being allowed to tell us where he was now! Most people would like to thank someone for saving their life and to continue seeing him even if it was out of country. I don’t feel that would be crunching your budget the least bit. But no worries MD Anderson... we will find him again if need be. God Bless you Dr. Conrad!

Dr. Conrad completed what should have been done by my original doctor. He knew what to look for and explained why it needed to be done. I truly believe he saved my life. I asked the first surgeon if it were malignant what was the next step and he bluntly stated, "nothing." Dr. Conrad did another surgery and ordered chemotherapy while waiting for other health problems to clear up so he could do the surgery. Really do appreciate this man.

My husband had a major surgery by Dr. Conrad where the SMA artery was accidently cut. The next days we are told Dr.Conrad is no longer our Dr. with no explanation at all due to HIPPA.

Dr. Conrad is a brilliant surgeon, but also has extremely good bedside manner. He takes the time to answer questions and shows great care and compassion. His sense of humor lightens the mood as well. Highly recommend.
