Not only was Dr. Helbing able to diagnose and treat my problem, but did so with caring and professionalism. I highly recommend Dr.Helbing and his wonderful staff!

Excellent service all around. Dr. Helbing is a true professional, well knowledgeable as well as a caring, patient and kind doctor. His staff are fabulous and take all the worry out of allergy shots, particularly for children. I would recommend Dr. Helbing to everyone.

I am 52 years old and have been going to Dr. Helbing for eight years. He is not my first allergist, rather one in a lifetime of allergists, mostly depending on where I lived or was going to school. I have a unique perspective in that I worked in pharmaceuticals sales for 17 years - I am picky about my doctors and value a good diagnostician first and decent "bedside manner" second. I would take Dr. Helbing's best guess on a bad day over most doctors' good days. He has great instincts and is very reasonable in his approach. He isn't afraid to tell you what you don't want to hear and he's nice about it. I have come to think of his warm and friendly office staff as an extension of my family :) My quality of life is vastly improved due to Dr. Helbing, I now get shots every 6 weeks and take an over the counter antihistamine where I was once on steroid injections. He listens and he gets it.

Dr. Helbing and his staff are very knowledgable, welcoming and kind. They do not make you feel rushed or as if your visit is unimportant. You are treated as if you are the only patient there that day and Dr. Helbing is very thorough with his diagnosis, and can complete this in a timely manner. He has been practicing for a long time, and his expertise in the field is very apparent. He can diagnose a large range of health problems after just a short visit. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for an allergist/immunologist in the Northern VA/DC area. Best in town.

Dr. Helbing is without a doubt the best doctor that has ever treated me. I have seen several doctors in the past years for my allergies and many of them dismissed my concerns. He is extremely kind, patient, and very thorough in his diagnoses. I never feel rushed or pressed for time by the doctor. His staff is also wonderful and a joy to be around. I always look forward to my visits at the office. There is no doubt in my mind that if you come to see Dr. Helbing you will also see all the great things I have experienced in his care.

I came here to discuss the problems I was having with my son. He took one look at him and told me he was healthy and that I shouldn't worry. I explain my concerns and he dismissed them and stated that I was basically overreacting. He acted like he had never seen a child with his particular symptoms. Very disappointing.
