My 3rd rodeo with this man, all successful. Great surgeon, and bedside manner. Wouldn’t consider going anywhere else. While I hate the idea of an Achilles surgery and recovery, I am 100% certain of a successful conclusion. .

I was told to “wait six weeks and see if my problem goes away”. If it doesn’t go away, I was encouraged to return even though he had no idea what was wrong the first time. Additionally I was encouraged to aggravate my symptoms as much as possible before returning to make his life easier.

Hasn't seemed to care about my pain as he really pokes and digs in to different areas. This is after me saying I was nervous about it because last time he pushed hard on the main pain area...Didn't give any choices just kind of pushed a pill regiment at me. Treated the symptom and assumed the source. Didn't consider any of my other info and as soon as he diagnosed this not as musculature but another issue in the area he seemed totally uninterested in me. I can get he's not a specialist once we moved outside that realm but the lack of concern or care to even ask me if I wanted to follow up with the other specialist, lack of any referral info, just some sheets he printed off with generic info as I was rushed out, which when reading alone in my car directly pointed to all the related symptoms and issues I was having as a different problem than he said...and one only identifiable by the procedure he mentioned but would not refer or even share info. He did give me meds, I told him 10 times… the peak was 3 days ago and I'm on the mend but maybe this will get me walking a little sooner even though it is only treating the inflammation symptom. The only reason I'm giving two stars vs one is his general direction helped me make progress away from tears or strains, but that is about all. Probably the worst medical experience I've had in 45yrs. Oh, and he claims this is different than last time I saw him but I thoroughly agree. He has his notes but I have every detail and pain and struggle of that first incident burned into my brain forever. It is identical...place, type, swelling pattern, ramp up, ramp down, the specific angle I can hold my foot before pain, the throbbing at 2am from no activity. That and the fact he never found a cause the first time but the new direction easily explains it too. Nevermind. 1 star. I've not been this mad in years.
