Dr. Clayton Bates Schroeder, MD

One of the best I've been to. He is attentive and on the ball. I believe he is highly qualified and does a very nice job in the "customer service" area with regard to patients. I read a few of the negative comments and I really have a hard time believing what was wrote. Dr. Schroeder has been very good to have as a family doctor.

I started seeing Dr. Schroeder a couple years ago, and he is incredibly smart, compassionate, and even funny. He's very easy to talk to. I've seen other doctors in town, but I've never had such a clear explanation of my health and tests before. His staff is excellent and they obviously enjoy working together. I recently had a hospitalization and I was so relieved that Dr. Schroeder sees me in the clinic and the hospital. What better care can you get when your primary is the one taking care of you at your sickest? I recommend him to anyone who wants the best in healthcare.

Great Dr. very personable

Doesn't follow up on test results. Puts blame on other doctors in the office. Won't return calls from patients families when they are in the hospital. Worries more about his wardrobe than patients. My dad died because he didn't call himback about test results bbecause they were doo busy

I had been seeing another Dr. for quite some time and wanted a change and was referred to Dr. Schroeder by my niece. It was the best gift that she could have given to her Aunt. He is truly a compassionate man and listens to what you have to say and takes the time to make sure that you understand if he is giving you directions. I am proud to say that he is my Dr. and knowing that his wife is an ER doctor shows that they both care about people and want to help them. You will not regret your decision if you choose him for your doctor, but this is all my opinion and maybe the bad reviewers were just having a bad day because I have never had a bad visit with him or had him not listen to me or not cared. Please see him and make your own opinion, I did and I am glad that I did!

Not very assertive in rattling other doctors in that he seems to be timid in not looking out for the patient and only looking out for his profession reputation with colleagues. He is still young and has not developed the skills in effective, persuasive communication with colleagues on a professional level that benifits the patient and keeps a good repertoire with his colleagues. He doesn't take the time to really listen to the patient, quick to refer to other doctors, and reports that examinations were done in the office when the only thing that was accomplished was talking about the problems experiencing.

He takes time, he listens, has a good sense of humor. He is my favorite and I feel very comfortable seeing him.

Dr. Schroeder is the best of the best. He is clear, concise, and considerate with his patients and their families.

Very pleased with all care received. Encourages me to be involved in my healthcare. Supportive, personable and caring. Has done an excellent job with all my health care concerns. Clearly gives verbal and/or written treatment plan when needed.

My husband and I saw Dr. Schroeder for our annual physcials. We'd been looking for a doctor in Omaha after recently moving here. Dr. Schroeder was thorough in his examination. He presented the facts of some medical concerns in a very effective and caring way. We are happy to have Dr. Schroeder as our physician.
