Dr. Smith is a native to the coastal community of Wilmington, NC. His father Clayton B. Smith, Jr., originally began the family practice in 1966 and went on to create a very successful practice and was very well known for his generosity and sense of humor. Dr. Smith, Jr. welcomed his son in 1994 after he received his degree in dentistry from the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill. Though his father passed away in 2001, he and his team continue the tradition of offering the same standard of care with the latest technology.
Dr. Smith, his wife Kim and their three boys all share a passion for the beach and time spent together. He is well known as a dedicated Christian, an avid fisherman and frequently volunteers his time to local charities.
