Dr. Chan is Excellent! I was referred to him after waking up suddenly blind from a retinal hemmorage. He quickly diagnosed my situation accurately and performed the surgery to restore my sight. More recently, Dr. Chan quickly diagnosed ocular edema that could have left me blind in both eyes permanently if he could not get my eye pressure down immediately. He stayed late and called local pharmacies to make certain that they had the medicines that I needed and even called me at home to make certain that I got my medicine and how best to take it. He went the extra mile with care and concern. That is a doctor!

Dr.Chan always does a fine job. However the wait time is annoying. Its usually 2-2.5 hour from start to finish. The scheduling could be improved.

There is not a retina Dr better than Dr Chan

Long, long wait time, but Dr. Chan is excellent!!! Both kind, understanding, and explains things very well.

I was thrilled to get an appointment at Desert Retina Consultants so soon after I was diagnosed with an issue by my Ophthamologist. Dr. Chan was my doctor here and he did a great job, explaining procedures (via a detailed video), reviewing the exact details of my diagnosis and effecting a laser repair of my retina problem.

I appreciate Dr Chan’s thorough, knowledgeable, and careful evaluation and treatment of my eyes during each appointment. He is an excellent physician!

Dr Chan is calm and makes you feel like you are his only patient when you are with him. His staff, from check in to check out couldn't be more pleasant and kind. Even if it's your first time as a patient , they treat you as if they've known you for years . All in all, a pleasant experience.
