Dr. Cleveland Ted Hood, MD

Not very professional or up to date on current medical procedures or advances. In a word, Avoid

Dr. Hood is an excellent Dr. I have used him on many occasions and he and his staff are always on point. Even with a bad diagnosis or your sickest day, they will help you uplift your spirits and you will leave with the confidence to get thru your illness. He always leaves me with knowledge of what is going on. I feel confident in his medical knowledge and expert opinion. I highly recommend him and his staff. Several people in my family have moved over to his office and they are pleased as well. Thanks Doc!!!

I went into see Dr. Hood for what I thought could be strep or the flu. I got into his office about 15 minutes before closing time. He gave me a strep test first. I waited for the results for about 15 minutes or so. He came in and told me I didn't have strep. I asked him to give me a flu test. He said I didn't look sick enough to have the flu and it was already past closing time for them!!! I told him I would go somewhere else. I did go to another clinic that did the flu test. I had the flu! I will never visit him again. He was more interested in getting off work than helping me.

Dr. Hood is extremely professional and took the utmost care with a severe wound that I encountered. He treated it very aggressively (thank goodness) and kept it localized. Though the infection was highly painful, and took 6 weeks to begin to heal,he continued to pack it and put a wick in it daily. With many shots and huge dosages of antibiotics I am doing much better.I will be forever grateful to Dr. Hood and his co-worker,Dr. McClellan and staff for the excellent care and expertise.

I have seen Dr. Hood several times over the past couple of years. I have a huge amount of respect for Dr. Hood. The fact that he has several years of experience,including years in the emergency room, is assuring to me. He manner is calming and It is most obvious that his patients are in the best of hands.I drive quite a distance to come to this clinic and I know that Dr. Hood will know exactly what to do ,without question.
