Dr. Clifford James Ameduri, MD

I've been seeing Dr. Ameduri for approximately 20 years, with one break of maybe 2 years in there. He has been consistently a personable and conscientious physician; always answers my questions and offers additional information. I see him for treatment of chronic pain due to past injuries. I've got a history of 'firing' doctors for being inattentive and unconcerned, and have never considered doing so to Dr. Ameduri even for a moment. I expect to be seeing him for as long as he practices.

He has been my doctor since 2015 and has been very good to me and has done a lot for my work related back injury.

I went to Dr Ameduri in 2015 and had never met him before. On my first visit he diagnosed, History of Addiction to Opioids". I had never seen or this diagnosis before concerning me and no Doctor had ever told me that before. When I objected, he told me, "If you do not like it you can leave my practice". I lost all faith in him at that point. I am sure this diagnosis may have been passed along by word of mouth as in phone calls, since I had had a Workers Comp injury which the medical portion was still open. My regular Medicare Doctors who actually tested me said I was not Addicted. I had only been using prescriptions in a responsible way. I did not fit into the category of "Addiction", based on the medical definition and criteria for making that diagnosis. That is what was explained to me by an expert in Addiction. Dr Ameduri refused to look at all my previous prescriptions and urine tests to have a second look at his wrong hurtful diagnosis. I left.

Does not read medical records. He hasn't got a clue how to help patients get out of pain.

I have been seeing Dr. Amerduri for a couple of months. Since my first visit, Dr. Amerduri has moved his pratice to 400 Red Creek Dr. I feel he is doing a great job with my health issue's & the staff are very professional & friendly.

I was under the care of doctor Ameduri for 4 years. at first it was ok going to see him because I only needed to see him for my pain meds. But since my surgery in 2009 I have been hoping he would help me move past just pain medicine. He really has never built a personal relationship with me. He acts as if I was a new patient every time I had a appt. with him. I began to ask myself why do I bother coming here? It became depressing because I just felt like he was not listening to my concerns. I was not getting the best medical supervision. When I finally addressed my concerns he closed my case and left me struggle to find a new doctor!

Staff is inept...waiting room smells of urine...examination rooms are dirty.
