Dr. Clifford Cameron Cloonan, MD

This was a emergency room visit I will never forget. Changed my life. I was having some numbness in different parts of my body it was going on for a day or so. It was odd and I had never gone to the emergency room before. I thought I might have had a stroke or it could have been multiple sclerosis. When I was in the emergency room I had told Cloonen I had done a search on my symptoms and I told him I was 99.9% sure I had multiple sclerosis. I told him I had had MS symptoms my entire life. The doctor and nurse laughed and he said that the chances of having MS was s o low that it wasn't worth doing any tests. He told me I probably strained my back and sent me home. 2 Weeks after this visit I lost my vision. 3 months later I was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. I lost everything. I am living off of 600.00 a month on Social security for a family of 4. If Cloonen would have taken the time to do some tests I could have been diagnosed and started on therapy. I may not have lost most of my… vision. Things could have been different for me. This doctor will always be apart of my life even though he doesn't remember me.
