Dr. Clifford Lennard Corman, MD

He was so inconsiderate to my feelings and why I was there. I’m dealing with some serious anxiety and depression. On a first visit, within 5 min he was very rude, lacking compassion for someone being depressed and upset, and just reading a paper with some questions. All of the sudden I have ADHD and need to stop drinking coffee and eating chocolate, which I don’t even condone much of. Such a bogus diagnosis. Come to find out many others that went here had the exact same thing happen. GO SOMEWHERE ELESE!!!

Doctor Corman legit said I had no friends as if he knew me so well. This man thinks he knows everything about you but seriously doesn’t. I wish I never met the guy honestly. Bottom line: he’s a horrible person with a horrible attitude and a horrible personality! He likes to talk smack about me a lot too. Hope this helps!??

I'll start off by defending Corman from all the 1-star rated posts... Every one of these reviews was negative because of personality flaws. They attacked him because they said he didn't listen. WHEN YOU GO TO THE DOCTOR, DO YOU WANT HIM TO TELL YOU THE TRUTH OR WHATEVER YOU WANT TO HEAR? This is why these 1-star people are idiots. One review actually said, "Corman said my kid had ADHD and he doesn't." What the heck did he go to an ADHD specialist for if he "ALREADY KNEW HIS KID DIDN'T HAVE ADHD". It's because he doesn't want to admit it. Now about my opinion. Corman is a numbers guy, he will tell you himself. "The reason I get results is that i take the time to analyze the actual data and fine tune not only the prescription but the dosage." That is why I will defend him. I don't need him to coddle me and kiss my booboo. I needed the straight forward no messing around answer and that's what I got. the reviewers have done their children and themselves a huge disservice will and I'm… sure already have regretted it.

Fantastic doctor. Amazing knowledge. Lacks bedside manner but worth it. Accurate diagnosis and medication.

Overconfident in prescribed treatment and irritable when questioned after treatment was not effective

I would never recommend this man to anyone--especially to those parents who are struggling with a child w/ ADHD. You will not find comfort or support from this person. He was inappropriate, seemed to practice borderline questionable ethics, rude, horrible bedside manner w/ my son, unwilling to listen to my concerns and from what I saw runs his business like a cash cow assembly line. I do not mind paying more for quality, however. Please if you have a child who is suffering from low self esteem, and as a parent struggling to get some help for your child look elsewhere for someone who is interested in helping your child and your family.

The only reason he has 1 star is because that was the lowest I could give him. Horrible Horrible Dr. He is extremely rude, never listened to what was "actually" happening with my son, and just spoke over me as if he knew how my son acted at home and school. INSISTED that my son had ADHD, when he DID NOT....and just continued to shove various pills down his throat. Then on top of it all, he ended up giving my son a medication for something COMPLETELY different than what his diagnosis was which landed him in the hospital. I hope NO ONE has to go through what my son and my family have endured at the hands of this rude and flippant Dr (and I use the term Dr VERY loosely)

Dr. Corman was the third or fourth psychiatrist my son saw while in third grade, eight years ago.Our son was under the care of a psychologist, as well.his symtoms included biting his ingernails and toenails until they bled. Between church, school and home we did our best to keep him safe. He was attracted to sharp objects.needless to say, I was worried sick and drove many miles previously to get the best psychiatric care available. I wll do anything for my children, be they biological or adopted.On the advice of my adult daughterwe saw Dr. Corman. When he talks to children and to me he is "news, weather and sports". Our son entered office medication- free and he played a little computer "game." Dr. Corman then studied the printed results and our son was given a medication and an hour and a half later the "game" was played again.improvement, but not optimal.the next day a different med was given our son and we took him to be tested in the office an hour and a half later.eventually… Dr. Corman was pleased enough with the results to take our son off the medication cocktail he had been previously prescribed.the new medication was prescribed and within two weeks the symtoms were gone. No more attraction to sharp objects and the urge to "feel" something. He was born addicted to drugs, prenatally. Are there still issues? Yes, life is a progession of changes and as there is a level of maturity reached the dosage and meds have been changed.My son still sees Dr. Corman for treatment and is under the care of a psychologist. Cured? No. But, let me tell you, my son plays a musical instrument in school and church. He is an honor role student, in after school activities and other major accomplishments. If I list too many specifics he would be easily identifiable.Dr. Corman will stand up for my son and take a stand for insurance to pay what is the best med for him. He will take on any fight to get what my son needs. His staff is professional and competent and ever ready to send required letters to DCFS, school or another doctor.whatever my son does in life it will be because of Dr. Corman's attention to detail and his ability to cut to the chase. He is direct and his words ring the bell of authe ticity.

I have had nothing but good experiences with Dr. Corman over the past 4 years under his care. I cannot understand for a second why this Dr. is being bashed and personally attacked. Fantastic Doctor!!!!

My son has been greatly helped by Dr. Corman. Dr. Corman has reviewed and changed and lessened my son's meds so that he has better control of his impulsiveness and his attention is better. It has improved his school life and our home life. In our experiences with other psychiatrists, we were just given lots of different meds. It was a guessing game. That was very upsetting. Dr. Corman has a great understanding of my son's tendancies and is able to help him. It is such a relief.
