I started seeing Dr Fetters a little over a year ago. After just two months of being on the treatment plan he created for me, I noticed improvement in most of my symptoms and some completely went away as time went on. It has been pretty impressive since I had been on some pretty bad drugs for several years, of which I had went off of in search of a more natural route. Too, I wasn’t even able to do everything he recommended, but I did most. Now that I am no longer able to continue most of my treatment, it’s been a ‘wow’ moment because some of my symptoms have already returned. So all I can say, is that his treatments did work for me! His supplements are better quality than what I bought at the store and the IV Vit C’s were amazing!!! I truly believe if I had been able to do the entire treatment plan and had been able to remove myself from a toxic environment and circumstances, I believe I would be totally recovered by now. If anyone out there is hesitant about investing in your health,… you really should check this doctor out!

First off, you will only see the doctor for 20-30 minutes and for anyone who has a chronic condition and needs a review of history etc., this is simply bad practice. You will spend 30-40 minutes with a nurse, most of whom are inexperienced and who will literally chart the entire time. Once you see the physician, he will race through your file, tell you have Lyme disease then leave. I've been to many functional doctors in the past and most of them take the time with you especially when they are charing you $500 or more. Dr. Fetters is literally $500 per hour ($250, plus $250 through insurance, plus co-pay) which is insane considering he get's nothing done and then wants you on $350 on supplements. Please at all costs go elsewhere! All ego's and $$ here.

Dr. Fetters is one of the most knowledgeable physicians I have ever encountered. He truly tries to get to the root cause of your issues and fix them NATURALLY. He really cares about his patients and tries to educate them on a holistic lifestyle and how to live healthier. He always has the latest and greatest modalities and therapies -- anything you may need, he has a treatment to assist you. He also has an on-site physician-grade supplement store, which is very convenient! Holistic and functional medicine can be pricey, but if you are willing to put in the time and effort, HE CAN HELP YOU. Highly recommend Dr. Fetters!

I've went to several drs over the years who would just write a prescription for my symptoms. After so many years of horrible side affects I finally went to Dr Fetters. I'm so glad I did! He listens to your symptoms orders some labs/tests needed and gets to the root problem of whats actually causing the symptoms. Based on all the data he then will let you know what natural options there are that will help heal you. He does prescribe prescriptions too but works with patient to determine what the best avenue is and allows the patient to make that choice. So really you are taking charge of your own health with alternatives not given elsewhere! He doesn't mind you buying supplements elsewhere but his are pharmaceutical grade so we all know you get what you pay for. I actually did research on a couple he prescribed and his are better quality for sure and are only sold to doctors/practitioners. Great down to earth demeanor!

I need to comment on the care my son has received from Dr Fetters. For 8 months no drs listened to me about what I thought contributed to my sons condition, no drs helped me form a plan to rid the issue vs just treating the symptoms. Dr Fetters did. We got more answers from a simple blood test he knew to order than 8 months at Comers. He spent a great deal of time with us and ACTUALLY evaluates you when you come see him. I see people making comments about him recommending too many supplements, but sadly, in our toxic world, it is needed. This man is amazing as far as I'm concerned and if you are holistic minded, you will see that.

I cannot help but agree with the gist of most of these reviews. We hoped to visit Dr. Fetters to solve some health issues, but instead were met with inattentive, confused, and expensive care which did not help us. I wish it were not the case, but everything we encountered spoke of making money instead of making patients well.

Went to see Dr.Fetters with sig. 3 main concerns: Persistantly high CRP, High metal ion level( from 2 MOM hips-was interested in chelation), and very low ferritin. At the end of the visit I agreed to just 1x$99 test for food allergies. Was handed a visit summary as I left. On the way home saw that he had ordered 35 lab tests( including ones that I brought results with me and were only done 2 weeks earlier by Labcorp( same lab as he uses!).Had read in the paperwork before I came that if you hadn’t fasted you would have to come back. I thought the only labs that were being drawn were for the allergy testing. Hadn’t had this done before , and queried it with the nurse,as there were so many vials. (He NEVER told me he was ordering these tests. My husband was with me to verify! ) All he asked was ‘have u met your 2018 deductible?’, and I said ‘yes’, ......but still pay 20%). Then he told me how good he was at scamming my ins. Co to pay for any blood work! He ordered ridiculous tests that… had nothing to do with my concerns, ( inc. a load for AR, after I told him I had no redness, swelling or pain in joints and play r.ball 3 hrs/week with the guys!!!! Some also had already been ruled out by other Drs, which I would have told him had he bothered to go thru’ his expensive unnecessary list! He sold me $400 dollars + of useless supplements which I returned within 15 days, after looking up the research regarding their efficacy. Refused to pay for the labs as I hadn’t consented to 34 of them! Then got a phone call from a woman at their office saying my FT3 was 3x what it normally is, and I had to cut my thyroid dose in half now! Utter rubbish-had only had it drawn 2 weeks earlier and it was fine. He didn’t even ask ( or tell her to ask!) if I had any symptoms of hi thyroid( which I didn’t!!!!). Thought lab values were a ref. only-how about what the patient is experiencing?????With a resting heart rate of low 60’s, no palpitations, insomnia . 96.8 temp., or any other symptom he still expected me to follow this girl’s Instructions, which I refused! Don’t think she even had a medical background! There’s NO way my thyroid is high at all- have taken this for decades and can tell whether it is hi or lo, but check it 2/yr. At the end of the visit, Dr.F had concluded that all my medical issues from anxiety to PPD, to current issues were all due to high copper and allergies to mold! ( have never had allergies to anything in all my 60 plus yrs!) As far as chelation went, he told me the price as if it was a single process-$325. Called the nurse afterwards to find that the usual practice was to come 2/week for as long as it takes! One other patient had similar issues with metal ions and after 9/or 10 trts had very little decline in blood levels! Living 3 1/2 hrs away-hardly practical!!! On my skin I have 100’s of pin point petechiae, which have been checked out by a hematologist and found to be harmless. He called them ‘hemangiomas’-something totally different and v. easily distinguished! I have ZERO faith in this practitioner. He charges $225 ‘functional medicine fee” at every visit in addition to the office fee!!!!! Huge scam-knows v.little about functional medicine at all! Don’t waste your time and money!!!There’s a v. Good Functional Medicine MD at Northwestern in Chicago-regular price and v. well trained! Will go back to him- never this provider.
